Statistical Methods for Clinical Trials - with examples from the Rezzayo ReSTORE Study
This short course covers statistical methods for clinical trials with a particular focus on those used in the Rezzayo ReSTORE study and anti-fungal studies more generally. The course is aimed at non-statisticians and makes no assumptions about your existing knowledge of statistics.
We will cover six topics:
- Basic Issues in Trial Design and Analysis
- ITT, Analysis Sets and Missing Data
- Power and Sample Size
- Statistical Testing
- Multiplicity
- Time to Event Endpoints
You should work systematically through these topics, the complete duration of the course is around 2 hours. At the end of each topic there is a quiz which you should complete before continuing onto the next section. The quiz is an important element of the course and the learning process.
